163 Orphans Celebrated at Iftar Ramadhan Ceremony in Gadong

Gadong: 163 orphans were celebrated at the ‘Iftar Ramadhan’ Ceremony for Arabic and Religious Schools, which also included a donation presentation. The event took place at a hotel in Gadong on the late afternoon of March 19th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony featured the presentation of donations to the orphans, who are students of Arabic and Religious Schools nationwide. The occasion was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence. The function was organized by Rizqun International Hotel, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Studies.
