Bandar Seri Begawan – Trainees of the Youth Development Centre's Culinary-Patisserie Course 2023 session have made a charitable contribution through their final project, donating food to 18 members of the Down Syndrome Association, ABLE. The donations were handed over on the afternoon of December 2nd at the Association's headquarters in Kampong Anggerek Desa.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the donations were presented by Awang Haswandi bin Haji Osman, Assistant Director of the Youth Development Centre. This initiative was part of the Action Day Campaign 2023 and aligns with His Majesty's government's aim, through the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, to nurture empathetic and socially responsible youth, particularly towards individuals with Down Syndrome.
