Bandar Seri Begawan: The Borneo Studies Network (BSN) Secretariat and iCUBE Secretariat, under the office of Global Engagement at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), recently hosted the Young Researchers Workshop titled ‘2030 and Beyond: Energy Transition and Sustainability in Borneo’. The event took place at UBD and was launched by Doctor Joyce Teo Siew Yean, UBD’s Assistant Vice Chancellor for Global Engagement.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop attracted young researchers from BSN, iCUBE, and UBD students with the aim of enhancing their understanding of sustainable development and energy transition policies. The participants engaged in interactive learning sessions that emphasized real-world applications, providing them with valuable insights into future energy solutions and sustainability practices.
