BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Education embarked on a series of working visits to various government and private primary schools nationwide on 1st November 2023 to observe the implementation of the integration of religious subjects into the general education system.
According to Radio Television Brunei, The visits were led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education. Among the schools visited were Delima Satu Primary School, Pulaie Primary School, and Brunei Malay Teachers' Association, PGGMB School, Sungai Akar. The delegation focused on inspecting the school's infrastructure and facilities, such as the ablution area, prayer room, and dining room, and took a closer look at how the integration of religious subjects into general education is being implemented.
