Post: Work-Life Balance Policy Workshop Conducted by Ministry of Health


Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Health, through the Mental Health Strategy Unit, Health Promotion Centre, conducted a workshop on ‘Work-Life Balance Policy for All Workplaces’ at the Prime Minister’s Office. The initiative was one of the key actions in the Mental Health Action Plan 2022 to 2025. Held for 2 days, the workshop was attended by 80 participants. The workshop was organised in collaboration with the Public Service Department, Prime Minister’s Office and the Department of Labour, Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as supported by the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority, SHENA.



According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop aimed to address the growing need for effective work-life balance policies in workplaces across various sectors. It emphasized the importance of mental health and well-being as crucial components of a productive work environment. The Mental Health Action Plan 2022 to 2025 outlines several initiatives aimed at improving mental health support and resources in workplaces, with the workshop serving as a pivotal element in this strategy.



Participants at the workshop included representatives from different governmental departments and agencies, highlighting the collaborative effort required to implement these policies effectively. The workshop provided a platform for exchanging ideas and strategies to enhance workplace environments, ensuring they are conducive to both professional productivity and personal well-being.
