Bandar Seri Begawan – Awang Muhd Saiful Amin bin Rosli and Dayang Halimatus Rabeatul Saiedah binti Huzaimi emerged as champions in the Brunei History Poetry Competition 2023. The event, organized by the Brunei History Centre in collaboration with the Secretariat Office of the Malay Islamic Monarchy Supreme Council, was held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports on the morning of December 2nd.
According to Radio Television Brunei, A total of 10 participants competed in the event. Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, presented the prizes. Coinciding with the National Youth Day celebration, the competition aimed to showcase historical poetry by local poets, emphasizing the country's rich literary heritage.
