Post: Water Supply Disruption Impacts Several Areas in Tutong District

Tutong: Several areas in Tutong District are currently experiencing water supply disruption or low water pressure. The areas affected include Tutong Town, Kampung Suran, Kampung Panchor Dulit, Kampung Panchor Papan, Bukit Bendera, Kampung Sengkarai, Tutong Camp, Penanjong/Binturan Camp, Kampung Penanjong, Jalan Pengkalan Ajong, and the surrounding areas. According to Radio Television Brunei, blue water tanks have been placed at strategic locations such as Tutong Hall, Tutong Camp, Binturan Camp, Kampung Penanjong Mosque, and Kampung Pengkalan Ajong to assist affected residents. The disruption and low water pressure are attributed to a transmission pipe leak under the Penanjong Flyover. The Public Works Department has announced that it will carry out emergency repair works as soon as possible to resolve the issue and restore normal water supply to the affected areas.
