Bandar seri begawan: His Excellency Mr. Lª Ho i Trung, Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, visited Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) on 29th April 2026. The visit highlights the enduring and cordial relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, focusing on enhancing cooperation in education, cultural exchange, and people-to-people connections.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Excellency was welcomed by Dr. Hazri bin Haji Kifle, UBD's Vice-Chancellor. During his visit, Mr. Lª Ho i Trung presented 57 books to UBD's Library. He also toured the exhibition and engaged with students. His Excellency Tran Anh Vu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Brunei Darussalam, was also in attendance.
