Verification of Fuel Dispensing Pumps Leads to Temporary Closure of Fuel Stations

The Industry and Business Ecosystem Division (IBE) of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, in collaboration with the Weights and Measures Unit, SDT, has initiated a series of inspections and verifications of accuracy readings on fuel dispensing pumps at various fuel stations. For the safety and well-being of the public as well as the workforce involved in the inspection and verification process, the relevant fuel stations will be temporarily closed.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the closures will occur from 9 in the morning until completion of the inspections, which are estimated to take around two hours per station. The division has released a schedule outlining the temporary closures of the fuel stations for the month of November 2023, providing details and timings in an accompanying video.
