Post: UTB and Muara Port Company Embark on Collaborative Endeavor for Industry Advancement

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — In a strategic move to foster innovation and transform industry practices, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Muara Port Company Sendirian Berhad (MPC) formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing ceremony was conducted on the morning of 2nd November at the UTB campus.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the MoU signifies a major step in joint ventures between the academic and corporate sectors. Datin Paduka Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB, witnessed the signing of the agreement. Representing UTB, Doctor Mohammad Saiful bin Haji Omar, Assistant Vice-Chancellor for External and Industry Relations, inked the document alongside MPC's Chief Finance Officer, Lyu Guoli.

The partnership particularly engages the UTB Business School and MPC in developing programs aimed at enhancing human capital within the logistics and port sectors, addressing critical areas of mutual interest and benefiting both institutions in the long term.
