UNISSA Holds Al-Souq Entrepreneurship Bazaar Showcasing Alumni Ventures
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) has initiated the Al-Souq Entrepreneurship Bazaar Programme, which is set to run until Saturday at the university’s gymnasium. The event was inaugurated by UNISSA’s rector, Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the bazaar features 27 entrepreneurs, with 20 of them being alumni of UNISSA. The Al-Souq programme is a dedicated effort to foster entrepreneurial spirit among the university’s graduates and the wider community. It provides a platform for businesses to present their products and services directly to the public, which includes a diverse array of offerings such as food, beverages, and apparel.
The initiative underscores UNISSA’s commitment to nurturing its alumni’s business acumen and supporting their contributions to the local economy.
