Post: Tutong District Hosts Cleaning Campaign and Coconut Trees Planting

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Kampung Sengkarai Consultative Council in the Tutong District conducted a Cleaning Campaign and Coconut Trees Planting event on the morning of December 3rd. This initiative, part of the Day of Action Campaign, was a collaborative effort with the residents and youths of Kampung Sengkarai, Kampung Serambangun, and Kampung Kandang in the Tutong District.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer, was present at the event. The activities commenced with a warm-aerobic session, followed by the planting of coconut trees and a cleaning campaign along Jalan Kecil Pengasing and around Pengasing Beach. A Member of the Legislative Council also participated in this environmental initiative, further emphasizing the community's commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
