Brunei Darussalam – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah graced the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed Judicial Commissioner of the Court of Appeal of Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony took place on the afternoon of 28th October at Istana Nurul Iman.
According to a news release by Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony commenced with the reading of the Letter of Appointment by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Penggawa Laila Bentara Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana Pengiran Haji Alauddin.
The Right Honourable Sir Peter Henry Gross, Judicial Commissioner of the Court of Appeal of Brunei Darussalam, then recited the oath before His Majesty the Sultan. Also present were several high-ranking officials and members of the royal family, including His Majesty’s son and brothers.
