Bandar Seri Begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah of Brunei Darussalam presented and received Letters of Credence during a ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman. His Majesty presented credentials to Brunei's newly-appointed envoys and received credentials from newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty first presented Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Pengiran Hairani binti Pengiran Tajuddin, the Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York, and Her Excellency Hajah Nor Huda binti Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Ahmad, Ambassador to Jordan. Following this, His Majesty received Letters of Credence from several foreign envoys, including ambassadors and high commissioners from countries such as the Republic of Korea, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan, Japan, Australia, and Cambodia.
His Majesty also held an audience with Brunei's newly-appointed envoys and the newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Private and Confidential Secretary to His Majesty, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office acting as Grand Chamberlain.
