Berakas: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, emphasized the hope for the emergence of skilled teachers, particularly Al-Qur'an teachers, to foster a brilliant future generation in the field of Al-Qur'an. This was highlighted during his titah at the National Level Nuzul Al-Qur'an Celebration for 1446 Hijrah/2025, held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas on the night of March 17th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty began his address by expressing gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, acknowledging the divine grace that allowed the community to commemorate the Nuzul Al-Qur'an event on such a blessed night. The Monarch highlighted the theme of this year's celebration, 'Akal Sihat Dengan Al-Qur'an' or 'A Healthy Mind with Al-Qur'an,' underscoring the significance of mental wellness through the teachings of the Al-Qur'an.
His Majesty's call for teachers of calibre resonates with the broader vision of nurturing a generation well-versed in Al-Qur'an, thereby contributing positively to the society's moral and spiritual fabric. The emphasis on 'Akal Sihat Dengan Al-Qur'an' serves as a reminder of the essential role that the Al-Qur'an plays in shaping not only the intellect but also the character of individuals.
