Temburong District, Brunei Darussalam - The Sultan Hassan Secondary School in the Temburong District hosted a Family Day Festival, open to the public for two days until November 26. The festival, held from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, aims to raise funds for school expenses, particularly for the preparation of teaching and learning materials.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the festival was launched on the morning of November 25 by Pengiran Muhammad Amer Mubaraak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the Temburong District Officer. Awang Helmy bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Acting Principal of Sultan Hassan Secondary School, explained that the festival is an educational endeavor, training students in entrepreneurship and selling activities. The event saw participation from 44 entrepreneurs across the district and beyond. Additionally, the festival provided visitors an opportunity to explore the school's new building, which has been in use since March.
