According to Philippines News Agency, the communications team of the Office of the Speaker notified him of the breach involving unknown individuals. He stated that they are coordinating with relevant authorities to thoroughly investigate this incident and are committed to resolving the issue promptly. Romualdez emphasized the seriousness with which his office is handling this matter and assured that measures are being taken to secure their digital platforms.
In the interim, Romualdez advised the public to exercise caution and remain vigilant about any suspicious activities or communications that may seem to originate from his office. This incident follows a previous security breach on October 15 when the House of Representatives' website was defaced by a group identifying as '3MUSKETEERZ', which posted a meme captioned 'you've been hacked' on the site's homepage.
