Post: Sign Language Basic Course Enhances Differently Abled Interaction

Tutong - The 'Persatuan Bahasa Isyarat Jurualih Kitani' (BI-JAK) successfully concluded its 3-day Sign Language Basic Course with a closing ceremony and certificate presentation at the Tutong Youth Centre on the afternoon of 9th December. The course aimed to facilitate interaction between Differently Abled Persons and the public in various settings, including education, employment, and social environments.

According to Radio Television Brunei, The certificates were presented to 16 participants by a Member of the Legislative Council. The course is part of a broader initiative to promote the use of sign language and produce certified and qualified sign language trainers, contributing to the inclusivity and accessibility of communication within the community.
