Senior Citizen Appreciation Ceremony Celebrates Achievements.

The department of community development: In collaboration with the Brunei Medical Students’ Association, BMSA, a Senior Citizen Appreciation Ceremony was held to celebrate the winners of ‘The Golden Milestones’ and ‘Strikes for Gold’ Bowling Tournament. These events were organized for Senior Citizens Activity Centres nationwide and the Wargamas Association. The ceremony took place at the Jerudong Sports Complex in conjunction with the International Day for Older Persons.

According to Radio Television Brunei, prizes were presented by Dayangku Siti Saihalina binti Pengiran Haji Mohd Daud, the Acting Director of Community Development. The event also marked the handover of donations by BMSA, totaling one thousand two hundred and twenty-nine dollars, to the Senior Citizen Activity Centre Fund.
