Life Saver 995 Briefing Prepares Villagers for Fire Risks.

Bangar: A Life Saver 995 Briefing was held on the morning of 31st October to educate villagers on fire preparedness. Organised by the Temburong District Mukim and Village Consultative Councils in collaboration with the Temburong District Operation ‘G’ Branch, Fire and Rescue Department, the event took place at the Civic Centre Complex in Mukim Bangar. The briefing aimed to equip villagers, particularly those residing in long houses and remote areas, with the knowledge and skills necessary to face fire risks effectively.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the briefing was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council. The session included a demonstration on firefighting techniques and the distribution of safety posters to further enhance the villagers’ understanding of fire safety measures.
