Bandar Seri Begawan – Nearly a thousand local and international scouts are participating in the 5th Brunei Darussalam National Jamboree, a six-day event running until Thursday, December 7th, at Bukit Bendera Campsite in Tutong District. This year's jamboree, commemorating the 90th anniversary of the scout movement in Brunei, has attracted participants from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the jamboree is designed to foster interaction among scout members while instilling a spirit of friendship and teamwork. The activities at this year's event are centered around six main themes, including scout skills, culture, games, and Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to provide a comprehensive and engaging experience for all attendees.
