RIZAL — The Rizal Provincial Police Office (RPPO) successfully apprehended two individuals on Saturday, previously identified as among the most wanted in the Calabarzon region for serious crimes including murder and multiple rape charges.
According to Philippines News Agency, director of the RPPO, the arrests were made in separate operations in Taytay and Tanay. The first suspect, a construction worker known as ‘Muklo,’ wanted for murder, was captured in Taytay on Friday. Shortly afterward, in Tanay, law enforcement detained ‘Aubrey,’ who was sought for two counts of rape. Both arrests were executed under warrants issued by the Regional Trial Courts in Antipolo City and Morong, respectively.
“The successful apprehension of these suspects reflects the unwavering commitment of the Rizal police to their sworn duty,” Maraggun stated. He highlighted the efforts of the police force in ensuring the safety and security of the community by capturing those accused of heinous crimes.
Currently, the suspects are held in detention facilities in the towns of Taytay and Tanay, with the courts having denied bail, pending further legal proceedings.
