Religious Education Initiative Launched at Universiti Brunei Darussalam
Darussalam: Masjid Universiti at Universiti Brunei Darussalam has instituted its inaugural Tuition Class Programme to Strengthen Religious Education. This initiative is designed to enhance students’ Islamic religious knowledge and promote the mosque as a community hub. Over 120 students from Years 2 to 5 have enrolled in the programme.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme’s inauguration was led by Awang Zulkifli bin Haji Murat, Acting Assistant Director of Mosque Affairs. The event featured a session titled ‘Ilmu yang wajib dipelajari oleh Orang Islam’. The programme consists of five classes, scheduled to start on Sunday, covering subjects like Al-Qur’an, Amali, Ibadat, and Tauhid. It also aims to instill a love for visiting the mosque among children.
