Bandar Seri Begawan: 17 participants of various ages participated in the ‘Pantun Meminang: Bertulis Spontan’ or ‘Creating Proposal Quatrains: Spontaneous Writing’ contest. Organised by the Language and Literature Bureau, DBP through the Research, Documentation and Recognition Division, the event took place at DBP Berakas, 3rd June morning.
According to Radio Television Brunei, during the contest, participants had to create a written quatrain within a set time. The contest presented a real field to test the mind’s sharpness, thinking speed, and language ability of the participants. The event, among others, aimed to foster a spirit of love for the arts and culture of the nation.
