Bandar seri begawan: Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah binti His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, President of the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam, attended the Presentation of the Brunei Darussalam Girl Guides Association’s National Tenderfoot Membership Badge 2025 Ceremony. The event took place at Sayyidina Hassan Secondary School in Mukim Kilanas on the morning of August 31st.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon her arrival, Her Royal Highness was warmly welcomed by Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd. Ali, Life Vice President of the Girl Guides Association, along with Dayang Hajah Viviyanti binti Haji Md. Ali, Vice President of the Association, and Dayang Norazrina binti Haji Sarbini, Chief Commissioner of the Association. The ceremony commenced with Dayang Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Abd Ghani, Spiritual Commissioner of the Association, leading the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and doa kesyukuran.
In her welcoming remarks, the Chief Commissioner addressed the association’s efforts to enhance and adapt existing programmes to meet current needs and developments. Her Royal Highness then proceeded to present the Tenderfoot membership badges to 444 members of the association, marking a pivotal step for members to engage in activities organized by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
