Prime Minister’s Office Staff Honored with Long Service Medals in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — In a prestigious event, 253 officers and staff members of the Prime Minister’s Office in Brunei were awarded Long Service Medals as part of the celebration for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 77th birthday.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event took place at Dewan Bankuet within the Prime Minister’s Office building on the afternoon of June 29. The medals were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, along with Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The presentation was a gesture of appreciation for the recipients’ dedicated service of over 20 years.
