Bandar Seri Begawan: The Prime Minister's Office and its associated departments organized a Tahlil Ceremony to honor Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The event, coordinated by the Media-Info Office and International Office with contributions from the Department Of Adat Istiadat Negara and the Anti-Corruption Bureau, was held at the Royal Mausoleum on the afternoon of March 4th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The religious proceedings were led by Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti, who conducted the reading of Surah Yaasin, followed by Doa Tahlil and Doa Peliharakan Sultan.
