Quezon City, Philippines - President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has issued a directive to all government agencies, encouraging their active participation and support for the upcoming 2024 National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Summit. Organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in collaboration with the private sector, the summit is scheduled for June 18 and 19 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Ortigas Center.

According to Philippines News Agency, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on June 7, the President has called upon national agencies, local government units (LGUs), and other government instrumentalities to assist in the successful execution of the summit, which will focus on the theme 'Digital Governance: Navigating the Future.' The memorandum was publicly released on Sunday.

President Marcos has authorized the participation of ICT executives, chief information officers, technical staff, academics, and key personnel from various government entities. These individuals are encouraged to attend the summit on official time, with the necessary clearances or authorities granted by their respective heads of offices. Additionally, the President emphasized that participation in the summit should not disrupt ongoing agency operations or affect the delivery of public services.
