Kiarong: 20 newly appointed members, including 5 sub-committee members, of the RPN Panchor Village Consultative Council, Zone 2 received their appointment certificates in Kiarong on the night of January 24th. At the appointment ceremony for the first session of 2024-2028, the certificates were presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council. The appointment's goal was to strengthen penghulu mukim and village head's institution as the core of grass-root leadership.
