Companies and Individuals Fined During Operasi Bersih in Kampung Tagap

Kampung Tagap: Two companies and four Indonesian citizens were issued compound fines for offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act during ‘Operasi Bersih’ in Kampung Tagap, Jalan Selayun, Mukim Sengkurong recently. The operation was carried out by the Licensing and Enforcement Division, Brunei Muara District Office in collaboration with enforcement officers from the Royal Customs and Excise Department, the Labour Department, and the Department of Immigration and National Registration.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Syarikat Lyt Enterprise and Syarikat Haji Mahmud were each issued a compound fine of $2,000. Meanwhile, individuals identified as Nyoman Adi, Darman, Moh Samit, and Suparni were each fined $500. The companies and individuals have been given a timeframe of seven days to settle the fines.
