Over 329,000 Aspirants Participate in Nationwide Civil Service Exam

Manila-Approximately 329,318 individuals participated in the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) conducted last Sunday across 16 regions, according to the Civil Service Commission (CSC). This turnout represents 91.82% of the total registered applicants for both the Professional and Subprofessional levels.

According to Philippines News agency, CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles reported that the Professional level saw 296,596 participants, while the Subprofessional level had 32,722. The highest number of examinees came from the National Capital Region, with significant numbers also in Regions IV (Calabarzon) and VI (Western Visayas). Nograles praised the smooth conduct of the examination, attributing its success to the diligent efforts of volunteer teachers and government employees. Various CSC officials visited testing centers across the country to ensure the exam’s proper administration. The results of the CSE-PPT are expected to be announced on the CSC website by October 16.
