Over 3,000 Kilogrammes of Recycled Paper Collected at Kontena Park Drive Through Event

Kontena Park – In an effort to encourage paper recycling, over three thousand kilogrammes of recycled paper were collected at Kontena Park’s Multi-Storey Parking.

According to a news release by Radio Television Brunei, the Paper Recycling Drive Through was organized as part of Sustainability Day. The Secretariat to the Special National Coordination Committee on Sustainable Development Goals Brunei Darussalam spearheaded the event.

The initiative aimed to raise public awareness on the importance of recycling paper. It garnered the support of several key organizations, including the Brunei Climate Change Secretariat and the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, JASTre, Ministry of Development. EnEvo Sendirian Berhad also collaborated on the event. Most of the papers collected came from government agencies.
