Nationwide Mosque Youth Da’ie Competition Celebrates Religious Spirit and Excellence

Bandar seri begawan: The Nationwide Mosque Youth Da’ie Competition instilled a profound religious spirit among the youth, while also producing da’ies of exceptional quality and calibre. This significant event coincided with the 79th Birthday Celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and took place at Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the competition’s prizes were awarded by Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, the Acting Director of Mosque Affairs. Awang Mohammad Riduwan bin Johari from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque and Dayang Najwa Syukriah binti Mohammad Amin from Kampung Puni Mosque, Temburong, emerged as champions in the Male and Female Youth Categories, respectively.

The event was organised by the Mosque Affairs Department and the Masjid Universiti’s Takmir Committee, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, in collaboration with the Districts Mosque Affairs Offices. This competition not only celebrated the achievements of young da’ies but also highlighted the collaborative efforts of various religious bodies in fostering spiritual growth and excellence among Brunei’s youth.
