National Vaccination Programme. 1 Directive Violation Issued with Compound Fine

 

The Minister of Health also shared that 4,863 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccine injection including 4,522 adolescents aged 12 to 17.

 

404,806 individuals have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine which is 94.1 per cent of the total population. Meanwhile, 372,040 individuals have completed the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine which is 85.5 per cent of the total population.

 

As informed by the COVID-19 Steering Committee during the past press conference, Government employees and staff who have not completed the COVID-19 vaccine injection and are allowed to work at the office are required to undergo ART testing every two days. For Government employees who choose not to get the COVID-19 vaccination, they must bear the cost of the ART test themselves. A certified ART test can be obtained from an ART Certification Centre approved by the Ministry of Health where the validity period of the certificate is for two days. The approved ART Certification Centres will display the Art Certification Centre Logo sticker and to make it easier for the public to identify the centres. Disciplinary action will be taken against any Government employees and staff who are not vaccinated and refuse to perform ART testing as directed.

 

Meanwhile, during the ‘Operasi Peralihan’ carried out from 10 in the evening to 4 in the morning, 1 violation of the directive nationwide was issued with a compound fine, which was a violation of the directive to stay at home.
