Post: Mualaf Basic Guidance Scheme Celebrates Completion with Certificate Presentation

Brunei: The Islamic Da'wah Centre recently held a Closing Ceremony and Certificates Presentation for participants of the Mualaf Basic Guidance Scheme, an initiative conducted through the Mualaf Development Division, Tarbiyah Mualaf, and Da'wah Unit across all districts. The 14-day program aimed to enhance the knowledge of mualafs, or new converts to Islam, using interactive and flexible approaches.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in Brunei Muara District, the ceremony was held at the Islamic Da'wah Centre, where 35 participants received certificates officiated by Pengiran Doctor Haji Amiruddin bin Pengiran Haji Damit, the Acting Managing Director of Zakat, Waqaf and Baitulmal Affairs.

In Kuala Belait, the ceremony took place at the Da'wah Unit Office. Dayang Hazalina binti Haji Dahlan, an Islamic Studies Officer for the Belait District, presented certificates to 38 participants.

The Tutong District event was held at the Da'wah Unit Office, where Awang Haji Azman bin Haji Musa, the Chief Religious Officer of Tutong District, awarded certificates to 36 participants.

In Temburong District, the ceremony was hosted at the Islamic Da'wah Centre in Bangar Town. Awang Haji Hazimin Bin Awang Haji Metali, the Head of the Temburong District Da'wah Unit, presented certificates to 14 participants.
