Ministry to Verify Fuel Pump Accuracy Across Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Ministry of Finance and Economy’s Industry and Business Ecosystem Division, through its Weights and Measures Unit SDT, has announced plans to conduct inspections on fuel dispensing pumps for accuracy across various stations.

According to Radio Television Brunei, The verification process, aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of the public and workforce, will necessitate the temporary closure of the involved fuel stations. These closures will occur from 9 AM until the completion of the inspection, which is estimated to take around two hours. This routine inspection, carried out three times annually, is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to maintain standards and public trust in fuel dispensing accuracy.
