Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, through the Land Transport Department, is advancing its efforts to establish a public transport system designed to be safe, efficient, scheduled, and comfortable for users.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat emphasized that the implementation strategy will concentrate on three key areas. The first area of focus is to enhance the connectivity and reliability of the main bus route network. The second priority involves improving and expanding the coverage of taxis and on-demand ride-sharing services. Lastly, the initiative aims to utilize technology for monitoring vehicle movements and passenger facilities through smart transport management systems.
These measures are part of a broader plan to modernize the public transport infrastructure, aligning with the ministry's goals of providing a more seamless transportation experience for the public.
