Post: Malaysian Armed Forces Chief Makes Farewell Visits to Brunei Officials

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Defence recently hosted a farewell visit from Yang Berbahagia General Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohammad bin Ab. Rahman, the Chief of Defence Force of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF). During his visit on the morning of 22nd January, he engaged in discussions with key officials, marking the end of his tenure.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in a separate session, General Mohammad also paid a farewell visit to Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, who serves as the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and the Second Minister of Defence. These meetings underscored the strong bilateral relations and cooperation between the Malaysian Armed Forces and Brunei.

Upon his arrival at the Bolkiah Garrison, General Mohammad was received by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The visit was part of a series of engagements aimed at strengthening military ties and acknowledging the collaborative efforts between the two countries' defence forces.
