Shenzhen: Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD and Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering Limited Company (Snibe) have formalised a strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU to promote collaboration in student and staff mobility, research, and specialised training. The signing was held recently at the company's headquarters in Shenzhen.
According to Radio Television Brunei, in attendance was Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of UBD, and Snibe's Chairman and General Manager, Doctor Rao Wei. This partnership is poised to strengthen ties between academia and industry in the biomedical sector. Key initiatives include exchange programmes and internships for students and staff, the development of joint research projects in biomedical innovation, and the creation of specialised training programmes in advanced biomedical diagnostics. Doctor Hazri emphasised the importance of collaboration in driving impactful research and expanding global opportunities for UBD students and staff.
