Mentiri: The ‘Lifesaver’ 995 briefing was conducted at An-Na’im Mosque, Kampong Panchor Mengkubau, Mukim Mentiri, focusing on understanding and identifying potential hazards such as fire. The event aimed at preventive measures and was organized by the An-Na’im Mosque Takmir Committee in collaboration with the Fire and Rescue Department.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the briefing included the presence of Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, a Member of the Legislative Council, along with 50 members from the Takmir Committee, congregants, and the Kampong Panchor Mengkubau Consultative Council. Participants were informed about the roles and responsibilities of frontline rescuers during fires in buildings and private homes. Additionally, the attendees received practical demonstrations on using fire extinguishers as a preparatory measure in case of fire emergencies.
