Launching of Capacity Building Workshop

Brunei Darussalam is committed to strengthening the inscription file to achieve its final listing on the Islamic World Heritage List. The Acting Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports stated the matter at the Launching of Capacity Building Workshop for Heritage Protection Professionals. Held for four-days, the launching was held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports this afternoon.

Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Acting Permanent Secretary for Culture is a Member of the Consultative Council for Cultural Development in the Islamic World. The workshop jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education as the National Commission of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, ICESCO for Brunei Darussalam and ICESCO aims to improve the capacity of experts and professionals who are interested in preserving and protecting cultural heritage in Brunei Darussalam.
