The Counselling Service Guidebook and the Counselling Code of Ethics was launched yesterday. The book was published by the Public Service Department.
It was launched by Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, Permanent Secretary for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office. The Counselling Service Guidebook is an initiative of the Public Service Department acts as a reference source for ministries, departments and civil servants regarding counselling services in the public service. Meanwhile, the Counselling Code of Ethics is intended to guarantee the welfare and well-being of Counsellors and clients in order to further improve the quality of counselling services, while further clarifying the rights and obligations of Counsellors and clients.
