Bandar seri begawan: The Short Message Service (SMS) for the Brunei Darussalam Mosque Construction Fund 2026 is now open for public donations until December 31st. The Launching Ceremony of the service took place at the Ministry of Religious Affairs on the morning of April 8th. The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, who also serves as Chairman of the Fund Collection and Disbursement Committee for the Construction of Brunei Darussalam Mosques. This initiative allows Muslims in the country an opportunity to contribute to charity by donating their wealth.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event also featured the Presentation of Contributions for the 2025 Fund via SMS, which amounted to BND121,622. These funds were contributed by DST Sendirian Berhad, Progresif Sendirian Berhad, and Imagine Sendirian Berhad. Additionally, the fund received a contribution of BND10,000 from DST Sendirian Berhad and BND1,000 from Progresif Sendirian Berhad.
