Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony and Donation Presentation Held by MPK Sengkurong ‘B’ Women’s Bureau

Sengkurong: In conjunction with Ramadhan, the Women’s Bureau of the Village Consultative Council, MPK Sengkurong ‘B’, organized a Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony and Donation Presentation for orphans and asnaf group from Kampung Sengkurong ‘B’. The event took place at Mukim Sengkurong Community Hall.

According to Radio Television Brunei, 52 members of the Women’s Bureau, MPK Sengkurong ‘B’, participated in the event. It included a donation presentation benefiting 33 orphans, 12 asnaf, and 3 members of the Women’s Bureau.

The Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) also held a similar event for schools under the IBTE Central. This event took place at Pengiran Muda Abdul Malik Mosque, Kampung Tungku, with 500 students in attendance. Awang Armi Durani bin Haji Durhman, Acting Principal for IBTE Central, was also present.
