Jerudong: The Kedayan Malay Food Festival, organized by the Kampung Jerudong 'A' and 'B' Consultative Council in collaboration with the Brunei Muara District Office, concluded on 24th February after a successful four-day run at Siandang Beach in Jerudong. The festival aimed to boost the local economy and was part of the Brunei Gastronomy Festival 2025 and the 41st National Day Celebration.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event focused on preserving traditional food, drawing significant interest from attendees. A notable achievement of the festival was the sale of over 18,000 kelupis, showcasing the community's enthusiasm for traditional Malay cuisine. The festival's success highlights the cultural importance and economic potential of traditional food preservation initiatives.
