Bandar Seri Begawan: His Majesty proceeded to Dewan Istiadat, Defence Academy, RBAF for a Junjung Ziarah Ceremony with the newly commissioned Officer Cadets and their family. Accompanying His Majesty was His Majesty's son, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Monarch received a Pasambah called 'Al-Intisar Al-Basala' which meant Victory and Bravery, and a Journey Book documenting the intensive military training. The Officer Cadet's success in completing the training with the officers and trainers' solid commitment has produced young leaders with integrity and of high calibre, in line with the mission of the Defence Academy, RBAF.
His Majesty received junjung ziarah from the newly-commissioned Officer Cadets and their families. Out of the 52 newly commissioned Officer Cadets, 25 are Royal Brunei Land Force Officers; 17 are Royal Brunei Navy Officers; 9 Royal Brunei Air Force Officers; and an international Officer Cadet was commissioned as a Malaysian Army Officer, Malaysian Armed Forces.
His Majesty then signed a Commemorative Parchment.
