Japanese Embassy Holds Reception for Emperor’s 65th Birthday Celebration

Gadong: In conjunction with the 65th Birthday celebration of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, the Japanese Embassy in the country held a reception at a hotel in Gadong on the night of February 26th. Representing His Majesty’s government at the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health. The event also saw the presence of Mr. Kikuta Yutaka, the Ambassador-Designate of Japan to the country.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Japan and Brunei Darussalam have long enjoyed a strong bilateral relationship. Last year marked the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, underscoring the enduring partnership and cooperation between them.
