Metro Manila — On All Souls' Day, partly cloudy to cloudy skies accompanied by isolated showers or thunderstorms are anticipated to prevail over Metro Manila and the majority of the Philippines, as stated by the weather bureau on Thursday.
According to Philippines News Agency, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), as of their 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, the shear line is affecting the eastern parts of Northern and Central Luzon. This weather system is expected to cause cloudy conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.
Furthermore, the northeast monsoon or 'amihan' is impacting the remaining areas of Northern and Central Luzon, forecast to bring cloudy skies and rains over the rest of the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the Cagayan Valley.
The weather bureau also predicts moderate to strong winds over Northern and Central Luzon with the associated coastal waters turning moderate to rough. Conversely, the rest of the archipelago is expected to experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
Temperature forecasts for key cities include Metro Manila ranging from 24°C to 31°C, Baguio City from 17°C to 22°C, Laoag City from 25°C to 32°C, Legazpi City from 26°C to 33°C, Metro Cebu from 26°C to 32°C, Puerto Princesa City from 25°C to 32°C, and Metro Davao from 26°C to 33°C.
