International Conference on Engineering and Advanced Materials Hosted in Bandar Seri Begawan

Bandar Seri Begawan: Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD in collaboration with the ASEAN University Network Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network, AUN Seed-Net, organised the International Conference on Engineering and Advanced Materials 2025. Several presentations are also held, touching on the importance of collaboration in advancing engineering and materials research. The two-day conference is held in Bandar Seri Begawan.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the conference was officiated by Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, UBD’s Vice Chancellor. Dayang Juliana binti Haji Zaini, Dean of Engineering at the Faculty of Integrated Technologies, in her welcoming remarks, underlined UBD’s commitment in tackling global challenges through innovative solutions. She explained that the sessions and discussions at the conference are expected to inspire actions that can be taken to deal with urgent issues. The conference brings together more than 100 researchers, scientists and industry professionals from around the world to discuss innovations in energy systems, artificial intelligence in engineering, economic practices and renewable energy.
