Temburong: The Information Department, through its Temburong District Branch, recently organized the Informative Society Programme aimed at fostering an information-literate society. This initiative is part of a broader effort to support national policies and encourage a collective responsibility in steering the country towards the goals outlined in Wawasan Brunei 2035.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme took place over two days, starting on the morning of June 16, and involved 62 participants from Mukim Labu in the Temburong District. The event was held at the Information Department, with Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council, among those present. The programme’s objectives include motivating community members to enhance their living standards and engage in capacity-building activities.
